  • Does Trials & Triumph Board Game teach all the laws of all 50 states.

    No, the game teaches principles based on the Fourth and Fifth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution. Although criminal offenses may have differing names in different states, the actions that constitute crimes are universal.  So are the basic rules that will protect your teen's rights.

  • My kid is a good kid. Her friends are all good kids. Does she really need this?

    Yes.  No teen is inherently good or bad.  All have brains that are still developing and growing. Therefore, making bad decisions is inevitable.  The game helps improve decision-making and activates critical thinking to help teens avoid actions that lead to the most dire consequences.

  • Can neurodivergent teens benefit from playing the game?

    Teens with varying levels of cognitive and physical abilities have played the game, including those who are neurodivergent and non-verbal.  It will be up to the parent to decide if the game is appropriate for your son or daughter.

  • Will the game teach my teen word-for-word what to say if stopped by police?

    No, it would be impossible to create a script for a teen or adult to recite verbatim in dozens of different situations.  


    Police encounters are fluid and fast.  The game teaches teens to rely on critical thinking and observation, not rote memorization. The game teaches 2 core phrases for teens to memorize.  It also introduces them to various common situations to prepare them in case they experience them.

  • Can Trials & Triumph Board Game be played in a classroom setting?

    Yes, Trials & Triumph can be played in a classroom, a living room, or a clinical setting.  No matter where you play it, teens learn quickly and will leave with lesson they can carry for decades.

  • Is it appropriate to play Trials & Triumph with kids younger than 13 years old?

    The United States requires additional certification in order to indicate a game is suitable for ages 12 and under on the packaging. However, we have received communications from teachers and parents of students as young as 3rd and 4th grade who played Trials & Triumph under adult supervision and still gained value from the game.

  • How soon will my order ship?

    All orders are processed and shipped within 24 - 48, except for holidays and weekends.

  • How much does shipping cost?

    Shipping is free.  For bulk orders of 50 games or more, a shipping fee will be calculated.
